What our free roof inspection includes

A qualified roof inspector comes out as soon as we can after you call or book. We start on the ground and walk the property to see if you have any storm damage, then we get on the roof. If you are asking about a new roof or a roof repair, we inspect the entire roof. Every finding is photographed and explained in plain words. Most inspections take about 30 minutes. Plan on an hour if you have questions. After a storm, fully documenting a property takes 30 to 45 minutes. It helps if you are home, so we can explain what we found before we leave. If we find storm damage, here's how storm damage roofing works. If the roof has reached the end of its life, see how we handle a roof replacement.

Drone roof inspection when it gives a better view

Most inspections are done on the roof, on foot. When a drone gives a better view of your roof, we fly it.

Our drone photos are taken by FAA Part 107 certified drone pilots.

Is a free roof inspection really free?

Yes. We do free roof inspections, and there is no obligation to hire us. We come out when you call or book. We inspect before we recommend anything. If the honest answer is "nothing needed right now", that is what you hear. If you need an estimate, we write one after the inspection and send it to you.

They did an excellent job on my roof - both dealing with insurance and with getting a quality roof installed (and fast once insurance finally approved (storm damage)). I'm impressed with (1) how quickly/thoroughly they stayed in touch each step of the way, (2) the level of effort they put into dealing with insurance (being there for the initial insurance inspection, getting another shingle out for insurance when it seemed that insurance lost the one they took to attempt to identify the shingles, etc.), (3) how quickly they came out during the waiting-for-insurance-to-get-back-on-shingle-identification to tarp, (4) how they stand behind their work (materials used and the install), and (5) how quickly they had the whole roof on the schedule and completed. They seem passionate about the customer getting quality results every step of the way. I give it a 10/10 and highly recommend Helping Hands.
