These terms cover use of this website and the Helping Hands Roofing text message program described below. They are not a contract for roofing services. Service terms, warranty coverage, and pricing are agreed separately and directly with Helping Hands Roofing, LLC.

Content on this site is provided for general information. While every effort is made to keep it accurate, roofing recommendations depend on the specific condition of your property and should be confirmed by an actual inspection.

Text message program

Program name: Helping Hands Roofing

1. SMS consent communication

The information, including phone numbers, obtained as part of the SMS consent process will not be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.

2. Types of messages you may receive

If you have given consent, Helping Hands Roofing, LLC may send you text messages in two separate categories. You choose either, both, or neither.

Non-marketing messages about your inspection, your appointment, and the status of your job:

  • Confirmation that your free inspection is booked
  • Appointment reminders before we arrive
  • Notice that our crew is on the way
  • Updates on scheduling, weather delays, and the progress of your project
  • Follow up after the work is complete

Marketing messages, meaning:

  • Seasonal maintenance reminders, such as what to check before winter or after a storm
  • Roof, gutter and exterior care tips, including steps you can take to reduce maintenance and head off repairs
  • Occasional offers from Helping Hands Roofing

We do not send sweepstakes, contests, third party promotions, or messages on behalf of any other company.

3. Message frequency

Message frequency varies.

For non-marketing messages, most people receive three to five messages in connection with a single inspection or job.

For marketing messages, you will generally receive no more than two messages per month.

4. Potential fees

Message and data rates may apply for any messages sent to you from us and to us from you. Any charges are billed by your mobile carrier according to your plan. Helping Hands Roofing does not charge you for text messages. If you have questions about your text plan or data plan, it is best to contact your wireless provider.

5. How you opt in

You opt in by checking one or both of the text message consent boxes on a form on hhrdayton.com, or by giving verbal consent during a phone call with us. Both consent boxes are optional and neither is checked by default. Providing a phone number by itself does not opt you in to text messages.

6. How to stop messages

You can cancel the SMS service at any time. Reply STOP to any text message you receive from us. After you send STOP, we will send you one message confirming that you have been unsubscribed. After that, you will no longer receive text messages from us.

You can also contact us at 937-215-8663 or aub@hhrdayton.com and ask to be removed.

If you do not wish to receive text messages at all, simply leave the consent boxes on our forms unchecked.

7. How to rejoin

If you opt out and later want to receive messages again, sign up the way you did the first time by checking the consent box on a form on hhrdayton.com, and we will start sending text messages to you again.

8. How to get help

If you are experiencing issues with the messaging program, reply HELP to any message for more assistance. You can also get help directly from us at 937-215-8663 or aub@hhrdayton.com.

9. Carrier liability

Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

10. Standard messaging disclosures

Message and data rates may apply. Message frequency varies. Reply STOP to opt out at any time. Reply HELP for assistance. See our Privacy Policy and these Terms.

11. Compliance

Helping Hands Roofing, LLC operates this messaging program in accordance with applicable messaging requirements and laws, including the Telephone Consumer Protection Act and CTIA messaging principles and best practices. We obtain express consent before sending text messages, we honor opt-out requests promptly, and we do not send content prohibited by wireless carriers.

13. Age restriction (18+)

You must be at least 18 years of age to sign up for the Helping Hands Roofing text message program. By checking a consent box on a form on hhrdayton.com or by giving verbal consent during a phone call with us, you represent and warrant that you are at least 18 years of age and of legal age to form a binding contract.

You also confirm that you are the account holder for the mobile number you provide, or that you have the account holder's permission to sign that number up. We do not knowingly enroll anyone under 18 in the text message program, and if we learn that a number belongs to someone under 18 we will remove it.
