Services we provide in Huber Heights

Helping Hands Roofing serves Huber Heights and the surrounding Greater Dayton area from our Beavercreek base. Every installation and replacement is backed by our Lifetime Workmanship Warranty where applicable.

  • Roof replacement: A full tear-off, two layers of synthetic underlayment, and photos of the deck, the underlayment and the finished roof.
  • Roof repair: We rebuild the whole side of the roof instead of patching it. Most repairs cost between $750 and $2,000.
  • Storm damage roofing: After hail or wind we inspect the roof and photograph every finding.
  • Roof insurance claim help: We put the photos and documentation together for your claim. What your insurance company pays is its decision.
  • Emergency roof tarping: If the roof is leaking, we try to get it tarped the same day.
  • Free roof inspection: We start on the ground, walk the property, then get on the roof. Every finding is photographed and explained in plain words.
  • Seamless gutter installation: Seamless aluminum gutters in 5 and 6 inch, with tear-off and haul-away of the old gutters included.
  • Gutter guard installation: Gutter guards on new gutters or on the gutters you already have.
  • Fascia, soffit and trim: Full replacement, one whole side of the house at a time.
  • Siding replacement: Vinyl siding, replaced one whole side of the house at a time.

Local considerations

Huber Heights takes its name from Huber Homes, the builder the city describes as proud of its brick suburban ranch homes. Census Bureau estimates put half of the city's homes in the 1960s and 70s, with newer subdivisions adding about one in seven since 2010.

The city uses the Montgomery County Building Department as its own. The county's re-roofing policy, dated August 13, 2019, says no permit is required for tear-offs and re-roofs that do not involve structural repairs, and that structural changes, such as replacing rotted rafters, do need one.

A brick ranch from the 1960s or 70s has outlived its first roof. We tear every roof off to the deck, photograph the bare deck, and lay two layers of synthetic underlayment before the shingles go on.

What Dayton homeowners say

  • Kara
Aub and his team did a great job with our new roof install. He made sure we were set for the winter and then installed as soon as possible in the spring for best results. Helping Hands also worked directly with our insurance, which was a huge help!

I would absolutely recommend Helping Hands to anyone. They did a great job replacing my roof and downspouts. I appreciate the amount of work that they put into helping me with my insurance company and how much they cared about me. They helped with things I'm quite sure other companies wouldn't have cared about. In the end, when my insurance company wouldn't budge, they made sure I was taken care of. Thank you for everything.

I highly recommend Aub and the team at Helping Hands Roofing! They replaced my roof five years ago, and we had a fantastic experience. Recently, after experiencing storm damage, Aub and his crew came out quickly to make the repairs. We ran into a few unexpected obstacles both times, but Aub's fast and clear communication made resolving them a breeze. If you’re looking for a local, honest, and family-oriented company, definitely give them a call for your next roofing project.
