About this project

The homeowner filed a hail damage insurance claim for this Kettering house and its shed.

What we found

We inspected the roof and circled the hail hits on the old shingles in chalk. The gutters and downspouts were dented too.

What we did

We replaced the house roof and the shed roof through the homeowner's insurance claim. We tore the old roof off, replaced sections of the deck with new OSB, and installed ice and water shield at the eaves, RhinoRoof synthetic underlayment, Owens Corning Duration shingles, new chimney flashing and a ridge vent. On the shed we installed RhinoRoof synthetic underlayment and Owens Corning shingles too.
