About this project
The homeowner called about shingles coming loose after high wind.
What we found
From the drone we could see shingles lifted and torn loose on this gable roof. Wind gets under a shingle's edge, breaks the seal, and lifts or folds it back, which leaves the roof open to water.
The homeowner had a few spare shingles left over from when the current roof was installed.
