The homeowner's roof was getting older and he wanted it replaced. He paid for the new roof; this was not an insurance claim.
Roof-deck condition
After tear-off, the roof deck was in good condition.
What we did
Before tear-off, we covered the landscaping and the house with tarps.
We removed the old roof and installed two rows of ice and water shield at the eaves, with RhinoRoof synthetic underlayment over the rest of the roof.
We finished the roof with Owens Corning Duration shingles.
