About this project

The homeowner's brother called us about his sister's roof, and he paid for her new roof. This was not an insurance claim.

Why it mattered

When we tore off the old roof, many of the 1x plank boards underneath had rotted through.

What we did

We replaced the rotted planks with new boards.

We installed two rows of ice and water shield at the eaves, with synthetic underlayment over the rest of the roof.

We finished the roof with Owens Corning Duration shingles. Replacing the boards took extra time, so the crew flashed the chimney as it was getting dark.
