About this project
A storm left wind damage across this Dayton roof.
The claim
We documented the damage and worked with the insurance company. The insurer covered a full roof replacement.
What we did
Before tear-off, we laid tarps to protect the property.
We removed the old roof and resheeted the entire roof with new OSB. The boards are different colors only because they came from different supplier batches. All of it is new.
We covered the entire low-slope section with ice and water shield, then ran RhinoRoof synthetic underlayment over the rest of the roof.
We finished the roof with Owens Corning Duration shingles.
Materials and system used: new OSB roof sheathing, ice and water shield over the low-slope roof, RhinoRoof synthetic underlayment, Owens Corning Duration shingles
